plantea un recorrido por la ciudad de Madrid (España) a través de instantáneas fotográficas que rompen con lo bidimensional de la fotografía. Y es que Luisa Fernanda Lindo trabaja la imagen como un dispositivo de extrañamiento que, al mismo tiempo, permite un diálogo entre lo familiar y lo desconocido; así, la imagen, como un signo saussureano, es descompuesta en una imagen mental/conceptual (significado) y en una imagen acústica/sonora (significante).

SINOPSIS

Este proyecto, iniciado en Lima en 2012 sigue la línea de su proyecto anterior snapshots|instantáneas LIM el cual fue presentado en el espacio La Polaca (Lima, 2014). En el caso de Madrid, la artista se propuso armar un recorrido de la ciudad por fuera de la popular ‘almendra’ madrileña (Centro y alrededores) para abarcar la periferia y sus espacios de hibridación cultural, despojados de exotismo y del encasillamiento turístico.

snapshots|instantáneas MAD se configura como una memoria visual, auditiva y sensitiva de la ciudad, que se traducen en imágenes literarias (fotografías textuales), imágenes sonoras (audios) e imágenes visuales (fotografías de archivo de 1920-1960 intervenidas manualmente).

Luisa Fernanda Lindo (Lima, Perú. 1979)

Escritora, curadora y artista. Licenciada en Letras por la Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA). Ha obtenido la Beca de Residencia Artística otorgada por SEGIB y Casa de Velásquez (Académie de France à Madrid) y la Mención Honrosa en el Concurso de Arte Contemporáneo Joven de la Municipalidad de Miraflores con su proyecto A nombre de la Nación (Lima, 2014). Como artista visual ha presentado las individuales snapshots|instantáneas MAD en Nadie Nunca Nada No (Madrid, 2015); snapshots|instantáneas LIM en La Polaca (Lima, 2014); [EN CONSTRUCCIÓN] en el CC Bellas Artes (Lima, 2014); y [EN CONSTRUCCIÓN] en laagencia (Bogotá, 2012). También ha participado en diversas colectivas de arte como PhotoEspaña – Fotógrafos de Casa de Velásquez (Madrid, 2015), Puertas Abiertas en Casa de Velásquez (Madrid, 2015); Instrucciones en Wu Galería, Proyecto Helga en Museo de Arte Contemporáneo (Lima, 2014); Memory and Democracy in Latin American Poetry en Harvard University – DRCLAS (Cambridge, 2013); Terra Incógnita – Cartografías Inexistentes en CCE (Lima, 2012), entre otras.
